This Friday's live USL on Fox Sports World A-League match takes place at the University of Richmond Stadium in Richmond, Virginia as the Rochester Raging Rhinos take on the Richmond Kickers. Kickoff is set for 8:00 pm ET.
Rochester Raging Rhinos
This will be the Rhinos' fourth game in seven days, including their penalty kick victory over the New England Revolution of MLS in the fourth round of the US Open Cup this past Tuesday night.
Former MLS forward Chris Carrieri leads the Rhinos in points with 17 on five goals and seven assists. Close behind is teammate Corey Woolfolk with 15 points on seven goals and one assist. Goalkeeper Theo Zagar has ammassed a miniscule 0.562 goals against average, good for third in the A-League.
Richmond Kickers
The Kickers have struggled of late, dropping three of their last four A-League contests, though they are only four points out of first place in the Eastern Conference.
Rookie forward Matthew Delicate leads the team in scoring with six goals and four assists for 16 points. Delcate's former Kickers Future (PDL) teammate McColm Cephas isn't far behind with four goals and four assists for 12 points.
History
The two teams have met twice already this season, with the Rhinos capturing two identical 1-0 victories. The Rhinos lead the all-time series with an 8-3-3 record, though Richmond knocked Rochester out of the playoffs in 2002 as the Kickers headed to their first A- League Finals appearance.
