USL Discipline Report: Week 6
May 4, 2016 - United Soccer League Championship (USL) News Release
TAMPA, Fla. - The following is the USL's discipline report for Week 6 of the 2016 season:
Three players are serving suspensions this week and fined an undisclosed amount for their violations from the previous week.
Orlando City B's Devron Garcia was issued a straight red card and sent off during the team's 1-0 victory against FC Montreal on Sunday. Garcia serves his suspension Wednesday night when OCB hosts FC Cincinnati.
The Harrisburg City Islanders' James Thomas and Seattle Sounders FC 2's Oniel Fisher were issued two yellow cards apiece and subsequently sent off during their respective matches last week. Thomas will miss the City Islanders' Saturday match against FC Cincinnati and Fisher is suspended for S2's Sunday game against Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
Among other disciplinary action, Harrisburg's Bobby Warshaw and Louisville City FC's Scott Goodwin were sent off during their matches on April 25 and 27, respectively. They already have served their one-game suspensions, with Warshaw serving last Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Rochester Rhinos and Goodwin missing Sunday's scoreless draw against Bethlehem Steel FC.
Wilmington Hammerheads FC's Ashani Fairclough has been issued four yellow cards this season and is one caution away from being fined and suspended for yellow card accumulation.
