
USL Discipline Report: Week 10

TAMPA, Fla. - The following is the USL's discipline report for Week 10 of the 2016 season:
Six players and an assistant coach have been suspended and fined an undisclosed amount for their actions this past week.
The Harrisburg City Islanders' Aaron Wheeler has been suspended for three matches. He received one game initially for his sending off at FC Cincinnati for a serious foul, and an additional two-game suspension was added by the USL Disciplinary Committee for an intentional kick to a player. Wheeler will miss the remainder of Harrisburg's road trip that includes matches against Wilmington Hammerheads FC (Friday), the New York Red Bulls II (June 9) and Charleston Battery (June 18).
The Richmond Kickers' Samuel Asante was issued a two-game suspension for his infraction against FC Montreal and will miss the team's Saturday game at FC Cincinnati and the June 11 home match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
Personnel serving one-game suspensions include the Charleston Battery's Romario Williams and Battery assistant coach Dusty Hudock (both out this Saturday against Pittsburgh), Orange County Blues FC's Ivan Mirkovic (out Saturday against Seattle Sounders FC 2), Toronto FC II's Skylar Thomas (out Saturday against the Charlotte Independence) and Bethlehem Steel FC's James Chambers for accumulating his fifth yellow card of the season (out Sunday against the New York Red Bulls II).
Seven players have been issued four yellow cards this season and are one away from being fined and suspended for accumulation: the Charleston Battery's Justin Portillo, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC's Miguel Gonzalez, FC Montreal's Louis Beland-Goyette, Rio Grande Valley FC's Jorginho James, the Rochester Rhinos' Vasileios Apostolopoulos, Saint Louis FC's James Musa and Toronto FC II's Mitchell Taintor.
