Records - Both Cedar Rapids and River City set records last week. The RoughRiders smashed the previous team record for consecutive victories (8) with 10 wins in a row. The Lancers established a new high for consecutive road victories with seven. Cedar Rapids will have a chance to break its consecutive road victories mark of five on Tuesday in Danville.

Puck Stopper - Green Bay’s Troy Davenport tied Sioux Falls’ Craig Vardy for the USHL single-game season high in saves with 53 in a 4- 2 Gamblers win over St. Louis on Friday.

Big nights - Danville’s Justin Tobe picked up his first shutout on Friday against Chicago which rebounded the next night with six goals, two of which came from Topher Scott.

Heating Up - Des Moines' Adam Miller has six points over his last four games. Stingy - St. Louis posted shutouts in two of the team’s three games last week. The first was from veteran Michael Zacharias, the second by rookie Charlie Effinger.

On A Tear - Lincoln’s Adam Bartholomay has registered three goals and two assists over his last three games to climb into second on the USHL scoring chart.

Impact - Sioux City’s Michael Hodgson is the USHL’s top-scoring d-man with 17 points. That total matches his scoring output from one year ago.

USHL Quotable with...

St. Cloud State University goaltender Adam Coole who was a two-time USHL All-Star in the late 1990s with Rochester: “Put it this way, if I have a son, and he’s good enough, he’s going to the USHL.”

LPH/USHL Offensive Player of the Week:

Jeff LoVecchio -- RIVER CITY LANCERS

LoVecchio (Chesterfield, Mo.) earned Offensive Player of the Week honors with an impressive three-goal, three-assist week. One of his goals was a powerplay tally which helped the Lancers topple Lincoln. Honorable mention goes to Samir Saliji (Des Moines), Adam Bartholomay (Lincoln) and Rastislav Spirko (Tri-City).

LPH/USHL Defensive Player of the Week:

Michael Hodgson -- SIOUX CITY MUSKETEERS

Hodgson (Surfside, Calif.) earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after assisting on both Sioux City goals Friday and then assisting on the tying goal and scoring the gamewinner on Saturday. Honorable mention goes to Peter Mannino (Tri-City), David Robertson (River City) and Charlie Effinger (St. Louis).
