And Then There Were Two: There are now two undefeated teams in the USHL with the Madison Capitols and the Fargo Force both owning 3-0-0-0 records after the first two weeks of the season.

Four teams stand atop the Eastern Conference standings with Madison (3-0-0-0), Green Bay (3-1-0-0), Muskegon (3-1-0-0), Dubuque (2-0-1-1) and the NTDP (3-3-0-0) all with six points.

Fargo (3-0--0-0) and Tri-City (3-1-0-0) also have six points each to lead the Western Conference Standings.

Expect things to continue to shuffle this week with 14 games on docket - five Friday, seven Saturday and two Sunday.

Players of the Week: Sacha Boisvert (Muskegon/USHL Forward of the Week), a Trois Rivieres, Quebec native who is committed to the University of North Dakota, scored twice in a 6-3 win over the USA Hockey NTDP U18s last Friday before tallying two more goals (including the game-winner) as the Lumberjacks claimed a 7-4 win over Chicago Saturday.

Will Felicio (Madison/USHL Defenseman of the Week), a member of the USHL All-Rookie Team last season, had a goal and two assists and was +3 with five shots on goal in helping the Capitols stay undefeated with a 7-6 victory over Chicago Friday.

Kevin Reidler (Dubuque/USHL Goaltender of the Week), a Gavle, Sweden native, had 38 stops in a 5-4 shootout loss to Waterloo last Friday. He then posted 23 saves in backstopping the Fighting Saints to a 4-1 win at Cedar Rapids Saturday for a .918 save percentage and a 2.40 goals against average in two games played.

Eyes on the Prize: USA NTDP forward Cole Eiserman racked up five goals in two games last week and leads the USHL in scoring with 10 points on nine goals and an assist in four games. The Newburyport, Mass., native has a four-game point-scoring streak going.

When the Levee Breaks: With seven points on two goals and five assists in four games, Green Bay forward Lev Katzin is the top-scoring rookie in the USHL. Katzin, a Thornhill, Ont., native who's committed to Harvard, had a five-point game in last Friday's 6-2 win over USA NTDP.

Gritty: Muskegon F Matvei Gridin started the season with three goals in a 6-2 win over Omaha on Sept. 23 and really hasn't stopped scoring. Gridin, who hails from Kurgin, Russia, has at least one point in all four games for the season and stands tied for second on the USHL scoring charts with 5-3--8.

EP: Dubuque's Erik Pahlsson has scored at least one goal in the last three games and after the first four games of his Fighting Saints' career stands tied for second in scoring in the USHL with 4-4--8.

Don't Mess with a Streak: Green Bay forward Libor Nemec has scored a goal in four straight games to start the season. The Bardejov, Slovakia native, who had 6-6--12 in 25 games with Omaha last year, has five points on four goals and an assists this year.
