MILFORD, CT – The United States Basketball League, Inc. (USBL), held its 19th Annual Draft today, which disseminated via teleconference call from the League Office. The Draft was broadcast live over the USBL's Web Site. A total of 44 players were taken in the four round draft. With their first draft pick in club history, the Cedar Rapids River Raiders selected R.T. Guinn of Baylor.

Guinn, a 6-10 center from Baylor, averaged 8.9 points and 4.4 rebounds a game for the Bears this season. "It's an honor to be picked number one. I am very pleased to be the first player taken and I hope to fill the shoes of other great number ones," stated Guinn.
