Durham, NCâ The USA Baseball World Cup Team defeated Brazil 13-4 on Thursday night at the XXXV IBAF World Cup at Estadio Victoria de Giron in Matanzas, Cuba.
Allentown Ambassadors' 1B Vic Davilla led the way for the USA. He scored two runs and had a single and an RBI in the game.
Former Quebec SS Robbie Kison also scored on a fielding error. Brockton Rox' OF Darren Blakely had a single and an RBI in the victory.
The USA Baseball World Cup Team (6-2) will play Nicaragua (5-3) for fifth place at the IBAF World Cup tonight at Estadio Latinoamericano in Havana, Cuba.
