
United Indoor Football Week Thirteen Review

Omaha, NE - Week thirteen of the United Indoor Football season is in the books. The conference races continue to be extremely close with only two weeks left in the regular season. This weekend saw the Rage edge the Extreme, the Beef beat the Wild, the Storm slip past the Bandits and the Outlaws defeat the Ice.
RIVERCITY 32, BLOOMINGTON 29
At St. Charles, MO
The RiverCity Rage edged the Bloomington Extreme, winning 32-29 in overtime Saturday evening at the Family Arena. Leading the way for RiverCity were quarterback Ryan Maiuri and their defense. Maiuri tallied 140 yards of total offense (41 rushing and 99 passing) and two total touchdowns (one rushing-the game winner in overtime and one passing). The defense tallied four tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions. They also forced and recovered a fumble (returned it 49 yards for a touchdown), broke up nine passes and blocked a kick. Bloomington was led by quarterback Dusty Burk and defensive lineman Quince Holman. Burk had 209 yards of total offense (10 rushing and 199 passing) and three passing touchdowns. Holman made a team-high 7.5 tackles (seven solo and one assisted), two tackles for loss and also recorded a sack to lead the defense. In week 14, the Rage hit the road to take on the Sioux City Bandits while the Extreme host the Omaha Beef.
OMAHA 54, WICHITA 6
At Wichita, KS
The Omaha Beef beat the Wichita Wild 54-6 Saturday evening at the Kansas Coliseum. Leading the way for Omaha were running back R.J. Rollins and their defense. Rollins tallied 124 all-purpose yards (102 rushing-UIF season high and 22 receiving) and scored four rushing touchdowns. The defense tallied four tackles for loss and a sack while also intercepting two passes, breaking up three more and blocking two kicks on the way to not allowing an offensive touchdown. Wichita was led by new running back John Randall and defensive back Orlandus Williams. Randall tallied 77 all-purpose yards (12 rushing and 65 kickoff returns) and one passing touchdown. Williams made a team-high nine tackles (all solo) and also broke up a pass. In week 14, the Beef travel to Bloomington and will play the Extreme while the Wild will welcome the Billings Outlaws.
SIOUX FALLS 41, SIOUX CITY 34
At Sioux City, IA
The Sioux Falls Storm slipped past the Sioux City Bandits 41-34 Saturday evening at the Tyson Events Center. Leading the way for Sioux Falls were quarterback Terrance Bryant and their defense. Bryant accumulated 154 yards of total offense (13 rushing and 141 passing) and had a hand in two touchdowns (one rushing and one passing) to lead the offense. The defense tallied four tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, three pass break ups and also blocked a kick. Leading the way for the Bandits were defensive back Chad Husted and wide receiver O.J. Simpson. Husted made a team-high 10 tackles (nine solo, two assisted) and also had a tackle for loss. Simpson had 123 all-purpose yards (six rushing, 48 receiving and 69 kickoff returns) and scored a rushing touchdown. In week 14, the Storm hit the road to take on the Colorado Ice while the Bandits host the RiverCity Rage.
BILLINGS 76, COLORADO 46
At Billings, MT
The Billings Outlaws defeated the Colorado Ice 76-46 Saturday evening at Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark. Billings was led by quarterback Chris Dixon and their defense. Dixon tallied 282 yards of total offense (75 rushing and 207 passing) and had a hand in eight touchdowns (one rushing and seven passing). Leading the way for Colorado were quarterback Garrett Mehl and linebacker Thomas Smith. Mehl led the offense with his 208 yards of total offense (52 rushing and 116 passing) and two passing touchdowns. Smith led the defense with a team-high eight tackles (all solo). In week 14, the Outlaws travel to Wichita and will play the Wild while the Ice take on the Sioux Falls Storm at home.
