United Indoor Football Week 8 Players Of The Week Announced

Omaha, NE - Robert Reed, Rachman Crable and Peter Christofilakos have been selected as United Indoor Football (UIF) players of the week for their play in week 8 of the UIF season.
Reed, wide receiver for the Billings Outlaws, earns Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts in last week's game. In Billings' 55-13 win over the Wichita Wild, he caught a team-high eight passes for 97 yards and four touchdowns. The four touchdowns marked the third the third the feat had been accomplished in the UIF this season. Reed currently leads the Outlaws in the receiving categories, with 37 catches, 509 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. This weekend, he and his teammates hit the road and will face the Colorado Ice Friday evening at the Budweiser Events Center at the Ranch.
Crable, defensive lineman for the Sioux Falls Storm, has been tabbed as Defensive Player of the Week. Last weekend, against the RiverCity Rage, he made a team-high seven tackles (five solo, four solo), a tackle for loss, a sack and also broke up a pass in the team's 41-32 victory over the RiverCity Rage. This weekend, Sioux Falls will host the Sioux City Bandits Saturday evening at the Sioux Falls Arena.
Christofilakos, kicker for the Bloomington Extreme, is honored with Special Teams Player of the Week. He went two-of-two on his field goals (41, 46) and made five-of-six on extra points to contribute 11 points in the team's 53-49 win over the Sioux City Bandits. This weekend, Christofilakos and the Extreme welcome the RiverCity Rage to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum Saturday evening.
