
United Indoor Football Conference Championship Games Review

Omaha, NE - The combatants for United Bowl IV are now known. The conference championship games saw the Sioux Falls Storm slip past the Billings Outlaws and the Bloomington Extreme defeat the RiverCity Rage. As a result, Sioux Falls will host Bloomington in United Bowl IV to be played Saturday, July 12th at the Sioux Falls Arena.
SIOUX FALLS 46, BILLINGS 44
At Sioux Falls, SD
Thanks to Adam Hicks' 25-yard field goal with no time remaining, the Sioux Falls Storm slipped past the Billings Outlaws 46-44 Saturday evening at the Sioux Falls Arena. Leading the way for Sioux Falls were quarterback Terrance Bryant and defensive back Andre Fields. Offensively, Bryant tallied 139 yards of total offense (16 rushing and 123 passing) while also having a hand in two touchdowns (one rushing and one passing). Fields helped lead the defense as he tallied five tackles and also broke up a pass. Billings was led by linebacker Mondoe Davis and quarterback Chris Dixon. Defensively, Davis led the Outlaws' defense with a team-high 7.5 tackles and also made two tackles for loss. Offensively, Dixon led the offense as he tallied 185 yards of total offense (83 rushing and 102 passing) and had a hand in five touchdowns (three rushing and two passing). With the win, Sioux Falls advances to United Bowl IV while Billings finishes their season with an 11-5 record.
BLOOMINGTON 33, RIVERCITY 7
At Bloomington, IL
Thanks to a defense that didn't allow a touchdown until 1:21 remaining in the game, the Bloomington Extreme defeated the RiverCity Rage Monday evening at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Bloomington was led by quarterback Dusty Burk and the team's defense. Burk, a UIF All-Star, completed 23 of 37 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. The Extreme's defense made four tackles for loss, intercepted four passes (one returned for a touchdown) and also broke up six passes. Leading the way for the Rage were Defensive Player of the Year Joe Bevis and quarterback Ryan Maiuri. Bevis led the defense with a team-high 10.5 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks while also rushing once for seven yards. Offensively, Maiuri tallied 83 yards of total offense (17 rushing and 66 passing). With the win, Bloomington advances to United Bowl IV while RiverCity finishes their season with a 7-9 record.
