August 1, 2007 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF) News Release

Sioux Falls, SD - The United Bowl III edition of the "Kurtiss Riggs Show" will air this evening from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on KWSN Radio 1230 AM and is also available for streaming at www.kwsn.com and www.siouxfallsstorm.com. The show will broadcast live from the Gateway Lounge, 3408 S. Gateway Boulevard, behind Carmike Cinemas in Sioux Falls. This week's show will feature team chiropractor Dr. Wayne Huber, Storm receiver James Terry, and UIF Defensive Player of the Year Nate Fluit.

Along with the guests, Storm head coach Kurtiss Riggs and the Storm radio voice Rich Roste will recap the Storm's Western Conference Championship victory over the Billings Outlaws. Sunday's victory was the fourth time the Storm defeated the Outlaws this season, and the win also propelled the Storm to United Bowl III where they will try to win a third consecutive UIF championship. The Storm will face the Lexington Horsemen in the United Bowl for the second consecutive season.

Dr. Wayne Huber was the Storm's chiropractor for the 2001-2003 seasons before he rejoined the Storm for their championship run in 2006. Dr. Huber is a part of a hard working training staff that works to keep the players healthy and happy.

James Terry backed up his excellent 2006 Storm campaign with another solid season as one of the Storm wide receivers. After tallying 20 touchdown receptions for the Storm in 2006, Terry rounded up 49 catches for 620 yards and 17 touchdowns in the 2007 regular season and has accounted for eight receptions for 149 yards and three scores in the 2007 postseason. Terry was a key part of the Storm's victory over Billings as he totaled four catches for 114 yards and two scores.

Defensive end Nate Fluit was named UIF Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season in 2007. The defensive end has totaled 15.5 and 16.5 sacks in 2006 and 2007, respectively. Along with his 16.5 regular season sacks, Fluit also registered 60.5 tackles, and interception, three forced fumbles, three recovered fumbles, and seven blocked kicks; one of which he returned for a touchdown in the Storm's opening playoff win over Colorado.

The Storm will finish their season on Saturday in United Bowl III. The game against the Lexington Horsemen will be played at the Sioux Falls Arena at 7:05 p.m. Tickets still remain for the game and can be purchased at the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office, 1201 N. West Avenue, or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
