Unbeaten Record And Winning Streak On The Line

(MIAMI, Fla. September 6, 2013) - The Tampa Bay Rowdies defend the only unbeaten record in the North American Soccer League this Saturday against the top of the table Carolina RailHawks, while further south in Florida the Fort Lauderdale Strikers aim to extend a three-game winning streak against the San Antonio Scorpions.

When the latest round of NASL games kickoff at 7pm on Saturday, soccer fans can catch all the action live at www.NASL.com/Live.

"We want to give our fans a win at home, and hopefully it will help us reach our goal which is winning the Soccer Bowl," said Rowdies coach Ricky Hill, whose side has impressed on the road in 2013, but struggled at Al Lang Stadium.

Currently sitting in second place a point of the top, the Strikers are bidding to go from worst to first in the space of six weeks under new coach G - nter Kronsteiner and extend an impressive three-game winning streak.

"This will be the hardest game we've had to date, because we are now, for the first time, in the position of the favorites," said coach Kronsteiner. "San Antonio is going to come in and play us very hard."

The first two NASL games of Week 6 of the Fall Season kick off at 7pm when fans can see the New York Cosmos return home to Shuart Stadium at Hofstra Stadium against the Atlanta Silverbacks. The game will be streamed live a t www.ONEWorldSports.com/watch where a prior registration is required before accessing the live stream, and on mobile devices at www.ONEWorldSports.com/watch. The game is not available through Ustream.

The Cosmos-Silverbacks clash will also be broadcast through ONE World Sports (OWS), the television broadcast and national network partner of the Cosmos on SNY on delay at 8pm on Sunday.

Cosmos coach Giovanni Savarese said: "Coming back home for back-to-back games, we want to play well in front of our fans."

Also at 7pm, Minnesota United FC welcomes FC Edmonton live on NASL.com with both teams targeting a climb up the standings being three and four points off the pace respectively.

"Certainly for us, we're excited to carry the momentum of what we did last week into this weekend at home," said United FC head coach Manny Lagos.
