UIFL Lakeland to hold press conference

LAKELAND, FL (September 2, 2011) - The UIFL Lakeland organization will hold a press conference at the Lakeland Center on 10 a.m. Thursday, September 15.

The Lakeland Center is located at 701 West Lime Street, Lakeland, Florida 33815.

An announcement about the team's ownership, along with their team colors and logo will be a part of the proceedings.

"We are very pleased to have Indoor/Arena Football returning to Lakeland," said Lakeland Center Executive Director Mike LaPan. "Our fans enjoyed the fast paced action of the game in the past. Now having the opportunity to cheer on our own new UIFL Lakeland team will only make it better. We look forward to teaming up with this new exciting ownership group towards developing a championship team here in Lakeland."
