
UIFL Announces Week 1 Honors

FT. MYERS, FL - The UIFL is pleased to announce its weekly honors for the first week of the season. A total of six players, representing four teams, earned player of the week nods.
Three different teams were represented in the North as Cincinnati Commandos receiver Brandon Boehm (offensive), Erie Explosion defensive lineman Mike Robinson (defensive) and Marion kicker Trey Kramer (special teams) were honored.
Boehm set franchise records with nine catches for 119 yards, while Robinson set an Erie and UIFL record with five sacks.
Eastern Kentucky quarterback Allan Holland (offensive) earned his third UIFL player of the week nod, his first this season. He was joined by Rome teammates, linebacker Brisco Bingham (defensive) and receiver Patrick Dupree (special teams) on the South list.
