This Week in the UIF: Teams advancing in the playoffs in the Eastern Conference were road warriors while Western Conference teams enjoyed the comforts of home. The third seed in the east, Lexington, beat RiverCity in St. Charles, MO Sunday behind the efforts of Eddie Eviston. The veteran recently returned to the Horsemen roster and was very effective. Defensively, J.T. Haskins picked off Rage QBs three times in the 48-33 game.

The number four seed in the east, Bloomington, took advantage of seven uncharacteristic Rock River turnovers. The Extreme built an early double-digit lead and held on for a 43-30 win over the Raptors. Bloomington now heads to Lexington Saturday night for the Eastern Conference Final. The teams split during the regular season.

It's tough to beat a team four times in a season, but Sioux Falls did it in typical fashion for their 36th consecutive win, beating Colorado 44-16. Billings beat Omaha 62-27 with Chris Dixon leading the way. He tossed seven touchdowns and ran for another. Teammate Anthony Candler helped the situation with 77 kick return yards. Sioux Falls hosts Billings Sunday afternoon for the Western Conference title. This will be their fourth meeting of the year.
