
UHL announce ruling regarding off-ice incident

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO -- On December 1, 2004, UHL game # 134 Kalamazoo @ Danbury, an off-ice incident took place.
After numerous interviews along with written reports, UHL President/ CEO Richard Brosal announced today the following rulings:
Danbury Trashers owner Jim Galante has been assessed fines for being in a prohibited area. Mr. Galante was also issued a written warning stating that any future incidents of this nature will result in heavier fines and/or possible suspension barring him from the Danbury Ice Arena.
UHL linesman Jim Harper has been suspended for five games as a result of his on-ice conduct.
"Mr. Harper's actions during the game and after were improper," stated Brad Jones, Vice President of Hockey Operations of the UHL.
