
UFL to Announce Revised 2011 Schedule Tuesday

JACKSONVILLE, FL - Monday, August 15 - The United Football League will announce its revised four-team, six-game 2011 season schedule at 1pm EDT on Tuesday, August 16.
The UFL will kick off its third season in Omaha and Sacramento when the Nighthawks take on newcomers the Virginia Destroyers at TD Ameritrade Park on Thursday, September 15, and in Sacramento when the hometown Mountain Lions, welcome two-time reigning champion the Las Vegas Locos on Saturday, September 17 at Hornet Stadium.
"We are excited to be moving forward and confirming the schedule for fans who are eager to attend games," said UFL Commissioner Huyghue. "The shortened six-game season means that every down is critical to a team's chances of reaching the Championship Game. Now, more than ever, every game counts and we can expect to see teams almost in a playoff mentality right from the opening kickoff."
The schedule will be posted at the official www.UFL-Football.com website and will be available through league and team social media outlets including Twitter @theUFL and www.facebook.com/UnitedFootballLeague.
