UFL Rosters Explained
July 16, 2010 - United Football League (UFL 1) News Release
JACKSONVILLE, FL - Friday, July 16 - The respective team rosters of the five United Football League teams listed on the UFL-Football.com website represent the following:
- 20 players who were either protected by teams from the 2009 season or in the case of the Omaha Nighthawks selected in an expansion draft.
- 12 players selected in the 2010 UFL Draft held on June 2, 2010.
- Free agents who are not signed to any other professional team's roster.
UFL rosters may be at a maximum of 70 players and rosters will continue to change as players are signed, assigned and waived.
Players listed on UFL rosters are a combination of signed and unsigned players. Teams own the UFL rights to the players listed on their respective roster provided they are not signed to another professional team's roster.
