
U.S. Soccer to Host Unprecedented Number of Fan Events for USAvMEX, Presented by AT&T

CHICAGO- As we approach the biggest U.S. Men's National Team match of the year, nearly 24,000 fans from all 50 states will pack MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus to experience USA-Mexico, Presented by AT&T.
To further enhance the atmosphere surrounding this huge rivalry, U.S. Soccer has put together a series of FanHQ events during the week that will provide opportunities for those in Columbus to celebrate the road to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Below is the ultimate guide to everything happening in Columbus around the MNT's opening match of the Final Round of World Cup Qualifying, also known as the "Hex".
While the FanHQ Hotel - the Renaissance Columbus Downtown - is sold out of guest rooms, all fans can join in the pre-game activities onsite from Nov. 10-12. Bar 41 will be converted into a full-fledged soccer bar with custom signage, past World Cup memorabilia, FIFA 2017 gaming console and a merchandise stand inside the lobby.
Thursday Night FanHQ
On Thurs., Nov. 10, U.S. Soccer will continue the tradition of hosting a FanHQ event the night before the match with a party at Short North Pint House. FanHQ is free for all fans to enter and will include food, beverages and official merchandise for purchase. The event will also have music, a U.S. Soccer-themed photo booth and special guest appearances.

#FindTheMNT
Seven life-sized cutouts of U.S. MNT players will be placed throughout Columbus on Thursday, Nov. 10. Fans are encouraged to locate the statues and snap a photo of themselves with the players using the #FindTheMNT hashtag. A map of the locations will be available on ussoccer.com. Fans who present all seven photos to our #FindTheMNT Ambassador at Thursday Night FanHQ at Short North Pint House will be entered to win a prize. Winners will be announced at 8 p.m. ET at Thursday night's FanHQ.
Live Players' Cut
Former U.S. MNT stars Jeff Agoos and Josh Wolff will watch highlights and discuss the inaugural USA-Mexico match in Columbus from 2002 FIFA World Cup Qualifying in front of a live audience at the Fan Hotel. The 60-minute event will begin at 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday, Nov., 11 and will be open to all fans on a first-come, first-served basis.
Official Merchandise Locations
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase official merchandise in three different locations during the days leading up to the match and at the stadium on game day. The main location will be the official U.S. Soccer Store at 1112 N. High St. in downtown Columbus, which opens Friday, Nov. 4. U.S. Soccer Store locations will also be open in the FanHQ Hotel lobby, at the Thursday Night FanHQ event, and at MAPFRE Stadium on game day. Fans who purchase a New Era hat from the U.S. Soccer Store locations at Thursday night's FanHQ and at the stadium will have the opportunity to embellish the headwear with a specially-designed patch, courtesy of New Era. The store on High Street will carry all items available on ussoccerstore.com.

Fan Shuttle
U.S. Soccer will operate shuttles departing from the official FanHQ Hotel, Renaissance Columbus Downtown, to MAPFRE Stadium on match day for those who have preregistered for the service. Shuttle schedules will be emailed to all registered guests. Limited spots are still available.

FanHQ at the Stadium
Pre-game with fellow fans at the stadium. Show your red, white and blue beginning five hours prior to kick-off. FanHQ at the Stadium in Columbus will be located in the Small Gold Lot starting at 3 p.m. ET.
