Harrisburg Stampede News Release
HARRISBURG, PA (November 4, 2011) - Harrisburg Stampede's General Manager and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski announced today that WR Adrian Perez has signed with the Stampede for the 2012 Season.
Adrian is a player with speed and quickness as well as size and experience. The former Hurricane and Brooklyn NY native will fit right into Coach Nowotarski's and OC Ken Miller's offensive philosophy, that size and speed are tough to deal with. AP is a 6' 210lb WR with a 40 time clocked at 4.28 while with the St. Louis Rams and Tampa Bay Bucs practice squads. Adrian will also provide the Stampede offense with AFL experience from his playing time with the Iowa Barnstormers.
OC Miller is tireless in his search for the players that are going to fit our needs both on the field and off. We are looking for motivated players that have will take a sense of pride in the Harrisburg and surrounding areas and the Youth of our community. While keeping their strong Family and Professional values.
We are putting together the best possible group of players we can assemble. My Offensive and Defensive coaches are on the phones with scouts, agents and potential players all day and night all week long. We plan on bringing a Highly Skilled and Motivated Team to our Fans and the Equine Arena. Adrian is a really nice piece of that puzzle.
Just a Reminder: The First Stampede Open-Try Out is Sunday November 27 at In The Net, Registration starts at 8am and Work-Out is from 9am - 11:30am
