SPRINGFIELD, MA- When the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament gets underway, the Blue Sox will be fielding a full roster, as fifteen members of the 2014 roster will be participating in the big dance, along with eight former players from the last two seasons.

Six players from Kennesaw State and six players from Stanford, four from Miami, three from Kentucky, two from TCU, and one each from South Carolina and Oregon either have played or will play at Mackenzie Stadium and are set to play in the NCAAs.

"It really shows the quality of player that comes through here," said General Manager Hunter Golden. "The players we bring in all have a big impact on their teams and we expect them to have the same impact when they come here."

The current Blue Sox to make it to the Tournament are pitchers Derik Beauprez and Cooper Hammond and outfielders Willie Abreu and Ricky Eusebio from Miami, catcher Dylan Delso and infielder Jeramie Fagnan from TCU, pitcher Chris Erwin and infielder Cornell Nixon from Kennesaw State, pitcher Zach Strecker and infielder Storm Wilson from Kentucky, catcher Josh Graham from Oregon, pitchers David Schmidt and Dan Starwalt and infielder Bobby Zarubin from Stanford, and utility player Weber Pike from South Carolina.

Three 2012 Blue Sox will make their final NCAA Tournament appearances as seniors, with pitcher Nathan Harsh and likely top-20 draft pick catcher Max Pentecost appearing for Kennesaw State and infielder Danny Diekroger advancing from Stanford.

The 2014 season will represent the Blue Sox seventh season in the Pioneer Valley, playing at Mackenzie Stadium in Holyoke.
