
Tulsa Shock Win Third Overall Pick in the 2013 WNBA Draft

TULSA, Okla. (September 26, 2012) - The Tulsa Shock were awarded the third overall pick in the 2013 WNBA draft next spring this evening at the draft lottery in Bristol, Connecticut. The Phoenix Mercury was awarded the first pick, while the Chicago Sky received the second. The Washington Mystics who had the greatest chance of getting the first pick were awarded the fourth.
The Tulsa Shock had the third best chance with 17.8 percent, of winning the draft the lottery and subsequent number one overall pick in the 2013 draft. The Washington Mystics had the greatest chance of getting the number one pick with 44.2 percent, while the Phoenix Mercury followed with 27.6 percent. The Chicago Sky rounded out the lottery with a 10.4 percent chance of winning the first pick.
