TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock released Jessica Kuster from its training camp roster today, reducing the total number of players in camp to 13.
Kuster was signed to the training camp roster on February 26 as a rookie free agent. In the two pre-season games with the Shock in which she played versus the San Antonio Stars on May 22 in Tulsa and again on May 28 in San Antonio, the 6-2 forward out of Rice played 12 minutes, and had one point and two defensive rebound.
The Shock's roster must be trimmed to 12 players on or before Thursday, June 4. Tulsa opens the 2015 season in Minnesota against the Lynx on June 5. The game will be televised on Cox channels in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
The Shock's first home game of the 2015 season is this Saturday, June 6 versus the Chicago Sky at 7:00 p.m. CST at the BOK Center. Tickets are on sale now at www.tulsashock.net or by calling 918-949-9700.
