
Tulsa Shock and PSO Call for Entires for Safety Poster Contest

Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock has partnered with Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) to deliver the PSO Electrical Safety message through an elementary school poster contest. Students in Tulsa area elementary schools are invited to create "Play it Safe around Electricity!" themed posters. Three schools with winning posters will be awarded $250 gift cards for classroom supplies.
The requirements to enter the contest are:
Create a "Play it Safe around Electricity!" themed poster featuring Public Service Company of Oklahoma's mascot, Louie the Lightning Bug, and the Tulsa Shock's mascot, Volt.
Poster dimensions may range from 11"x17" to 17"x24"
Teachers may complete the submission form at http://bit.ly/1jd1ljh and send their classroom's posters to the Tulsa Shock at 1 West 3rd St., Suite 1100, Tulsa, OK 74103 by April 21.
The top 20 posters will be displayed at Tulsa Children's Museum from April 21 to May 1. The posters will then be displayed during the Tulsa Shock's School Day presented by Public Service Company of Oklahoma game on Friday, May 2. Representatives from Public Service Company of Oklahoma and the Tulsa Children's Museum will select the final three winners. Winners will be announced during the game and presented a $250 gift card.
