Tuesday's Louisville vs. Gwinnet Game to Air on MLB Network

Triple-A Baseball announced today that the game on Tuesday, June 30 between the Louisville Bats and Gwinnett Braves will be shown live on MLB Network at 2:00 p.m. eastern. The broadcast, emanating from the brand new Gwinnett Stadium in Georgia, will be the first Minor League Baseball game to be aired live and in its entirety on MLB Network. The matchup pits the Louisville Bats, Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, against the Gwinnett Braves, the top farm club of the Atlanta Braves in a battle of International League playoff contenders.
MLB Network launched on January 1, 2009 in approximately 50 million homes as the largest network debut in cable television history, exceeding the previous record by approximately 20 million. The channel is broadly distributed across 43 cable and satellite systems, including Comcast, Cox, DirecTV, Time Warner, Charter, Cablevision, and Verizon FiOS. In addition to live games, MLB Network airs original programming, highlights, classic games, and coverage of baseball events.
Tuesday's game precedes another live national broadcast for Triple-A Baseball that is right around the corner. On July 15 the 22nd annual Triple-A All-Star Game will air live from Portland, Oregon on ESPN2. Additional regular season telecasts of Triple-A Baseball on MLB Network are expected later this season.
