Tryouts for 2011 Announced

LAKE CHARLES LA. - Louisiana Swashbucklers head coach Darnell Lee announces tryouts for the 2011 team will be on Saturday, December 11th, at Cowboy Stadium in the McNeese State athletic complex. Registration will be from 8:30 -9 a.m.

From 9-10:30 a.m. tryouts for quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back will be conducted. The session for offensive line, defensive line, running back and linebackers is 10:30 to noon.

Registration fee is $40 and is non-refundable. Tryout activities will consist of a 40-yard dash, an L-drill, one-on-ones and position drills. All athletes attending will need to bring their own workout gear. This includes cleats, sneakers, shorts, and T-shirts.

That time is drawing near. The Louisiana Swashbucklers are getting ready for a run at a fourth championship and you are invited to be a part of the action.
