
Tropics Look to Extend 8-Game Win Streak at Home vs. Rochester, on Road at Milwaukee

LAKELAND, Fla. - The top team in the Major Arena Soccer League's Eastern Conference will be looking to extend its team record eight-game win streak this weekend, with a home match Saturday against Rochester and a road showdown Sunday in Milwaukee.
The Tropics are 13-1, three games clear of second place Utica City and three and one-half game ahead of Milwaukee coming into the weekend. Milwaukee is at 9-4, while Rochester is winless in 15 starts.
Victor Parreiras will look to become the team's all-time leading scorer. He comes into the Rochester game with 98 career points in his four-year Tropics history, one behind good friend Ricardo Diegues who amassed 99 points in his three years with Florida.
Rochester is led by Anthony Rozzano and Michael Cunningham with six goals each. Milwaukee's Ian Bennett has 27 goals, tied for first in the league.
Saturday's kickoff is at 5:05 p.m. at the RP Funding Center, and will be broadcast live oon WTTA-TV Great 38 in Tampa. Sunday's start is 6:07 p.m. eastern standard time in Milwaukee.
