Florida Tropics SC News Release
KANSAS CITY - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today that Florida Tropics forward Zach Reget has been voted the MASL Player of the Week. This is the first Player of the Week award for Reget.
The Team of the Week is voted on each week by MASL fans and MASL teams. Baltimore's Vini Dantas, Harrisburg's Dom Francis and Milwaukee's Rafa Dias were each tied for second in this week's voting.
The Florida Tropics defeated their cross-town rivals, the Orlando SeaWolves on Thursday, then continued on their road trip to the home of the defending champion Milwaukee Wave, winning that one as well. Reget scored three goals and an assist as he led his team to an undefeated weekend.
Reget and the Tropics go for round three in their season series against the SeaWolves on Saturday evening, this time playing in front of their home crowd at RP Funding Center. The match will kickoff at 5:05 p.m. ET and you can get tickets at https://rpfundingcenter.com/event-details/?eventId=28393, or watch live on WTTA Great 38 locally, or MASL.tv via Youtube nationally.
