Greenville Triumph SC News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club and Max Hemmings have mutually agreed to release the midfielder from his contract, the club announced today. The move comes as the Triumph open preseason training for the 2022 season this week.
Hemmings joined the Triumph in May of 2019 following his graduation from Georgia State. Originally from Wokingham, England, Hemmings earned all-conference and all-region honors while at Georgia State. Hemmings started 37 matches during his time with the Triumph, appearing in the midfield and on the backline across 42 total appearances in League One play. Hemmings missed the shortened 2020 season after suffering an ACL injury late in the 2019 season against Richmond.
