Trenton Orthopaedic Group Partners With Trenton Freedom

TRENTON, N.J. - Trenton Freedom players will receive top-notch medical care this season and for seasons to come, thanks to a three-year agreement with Trenton Orthopaedic Group (TOG).
Headed by Dr. William Gomez, the group will begin working with the Freedom when training camp begins in March. Dr. Louis Fares II, Dr. Peter Wenger and Dr. Michael Duch will also be part of Gomez's team.
"We're really looking forward to being with the Freedom, for this season and beyond,'' said Gomez. "We are here to help the team in any medical way we can.
"I've worked with all the doctors we have in our group and know them all very well. All have a lot of experience working with athletes on all levels.''
Gomez and Duch will concentrate on orthopedics, Fares general surgery and Wenger as the Sports Medicine and general medicine specialist.
"Our players will receive the best medical care possible,'' said Freedom co-owner Dennis Williams. "This is a key piece in building a strong foundation for our franchise.''
The Freedom will open their inaugural PIFL season at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, hosting the Richmond Raiders. Both season and single-game tickets are available by calling 1-800-521-FREE (3733) or by going to http://www.trentonfreedom.com/tickets.html.
In to the opener with Richmond, which will make a return visit May 3, the Freedom will welcome Professional Indoor League foes Columbus (April 19), Harrisburg (May 11), Lehigh Valley (May 24) and Albany (June 21).
