TRENTON, NJ- The Trenton Freedom have made the decision to suspend operations indefinitely as of close of business on Monday. The team is in the process of notifying all coaches, players, and administrative personnel as well as league partners of their decision.
The Freedom want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Freedom fans, community partners, and their staff for their dedication to the team. General Manager Jeff Gonos stated, "It's a tough day for everyone and especially for those that have worked their tails off trying to keep our product alive in Trenton. At the end of the day it's just not the right fit at the right cost for what our investors were looking to accomplish."
