Trenton Freedom Return Home After Clinching

June 16, 2014 - Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL)
Trenton Freedom News Release

(TRENTON, NJ - June 16, 2014) This past weekend, the Trenton Freedom, with six straight wins, clinched both the regular-season National Conference Championship and a home Professional Indoor Football League playoff game the weekend of June 5-6.

Before the postseason kicks off, the Freedom will take on the Georgia Fire THIS Saturday at 7pm in what is the Freedom's final regular-season home game at the Sun National Bank Center. The contest marks Fan Appreciation Night, which will feature several attractions and premiums:

- Fans can enter a drawing to earn an attempt to win $20,000 by kicking an UNO by booting the ball through the goal-posts from the opposite goal-line.

- Fans will able to reserve season tickets for the 2015 season. This will be a chance to simply reserve. No deposit or monetary commitment is required at this time.

- Coupons and other offers from our sponsors will be available to fans.

The Freedom and American Conference champion Nashville Venom are both 8-2 and are vying for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. This week's game, versus a Georgia team which can score points quickly, is another challenge to the Freedom in its quest to earn that home-turf advantage for the PIFL title game the weekend of July 12-13.

"Every week we simply aim to be 1-0,'' said Freedom head coach Kevin O'Hanlon. "That's what we will be doing this Saturday. We have to keep taking care of business.''

Tickets start at $13 (additional fees may apply) and are available at www.ComcastTIX.com, by phone at 1-800-298-4200 or in person at the Sun National Bank Center Box Office. Group discounts are available by calling 609-656-3234. For more information, visit www.sunnationalbankcenter.com. For 2015 season ticket reservations, call 1-800-521-FREE (3373).
