Tulsa, OK-Levi Stoudt pitched six strong innings to earn a win and Michael Stryffeler slammed the door as the Arkansas Travelers (3-2, 39-35) topped the Tulsa Drillers (2-3, 42-30) by a 4-3 count on Saturday night. Stoudt allowed just two hits while striking out five against no walks en route to his sixth victory. Stryffeler struck out the side in order in the ninth preserving the one-run lead for the save. Zach DeLoach gave the Travs the lead in the third inning with a two-run home run.
Moments That Mattered
* After the Travs had taken the lead, Tulsa responded with a lead off double followed by a hit batter in the bottom of the inning but Stoudt got a double play ball and would go on to retire the final 11 hitters he faced on the night.
* Cade Marlowe provided an insurance run in the top of the eighth. After drawing a leadoff walk, he stole second and third and then scored on a wild pitch with two out.
