September 25, 2009 / Rolling Meadows, Illinois - The Chicago Blaze are proud to be added to the sponsorship group of the upcoming Windy City Corn Hole Classic. This event has added many new sponsors this year including the Chicago Blaze Professional Hockey Team, BestCornBags.com, The Miller Lite, 101.9FM, The Corn hole Players.net, Monster Energy Drink and many more! We will be raffling away tons of prizes and there will be many things for you to do and see, such as our two huge inflatable moon walks for the kids, meet and greet and autographs from the Chicago Blaze hockey team members, free samples from all of our outstanding sponsors, and a great goodie bag and custom T-shirt for all our competitors!
Saturday October 3rd is the day to come experience the backyard and barbecue game that has taken the nation by storm, bringing families together one toss at time. Instead of sitting in front of the TV, get out with family and friends and have some fun at the Nation's Largest Corn hole Event. The 3rd Annual Windy City Cornhole Classic!
The exciting tournament is the first large community event the Blaze will attend this fall at world-famous Arlington Park Racetrack in Arlington Heights, IL. Building on two successful years at Soldier Field, with over 1,300 participants and 3,000 people in attendance, it is sure to be another exciting day for both serious and social throwers from throughout the Midwest.
Participants will compete for $4,500 in prizes, while spectators will enjoy a festive atmosphere with music, delicious food and drinks, and activities for all ages. So whether you're new to the game or seasoned pro, enjoy the division that suits your throw. We offer competitive and social divisions alike and every team is guaranteed 3 matches. Take the prize alone or bring a friend to share. Test your strength and accuracy with the Long Toss Throw against other competitors.
Again, The 3rd Annual Windy City Cornhole Classic will be held on Saturday, October 3 at Arlington Park. Competitive doubles and social singles will begin promptly at 10am, to be followed by social doubles and competitive singles at 1pm.
