Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Toros will host the Tijuana Cimarrones for a 3-game weekend homestand at Hi Corbett Field beginning on Thirsty Thursday, August 19th at 7:00 p.m. The homestand will mark the return of the Toros following their two week roadtrip to Canada where they faced the Victoria Seals, Calgary Vipers and the Edmonton Capitals.
The homestand will feature dollar beverages on Thirsty Thursday, fireworks show post-game on Fireworks Friday and on Saturday the first 1,000 fans through the gates with paid admission will receive a Toros Fleece Blanket commemorating the team's 2009 GBL Southern Division Championship. THIRSTY THURSDAY! - Thirsty Thursday Enjoy dollar beers, soft drinks, and lemonade for two hours after the first pitch, presented by Sol Casinos
Friday, August 20, 7:00 p.m. vs. Tijuana (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
FIREWORKS FRIDAY! - The skies will dazzle with Tucson's most innovative fireworks show following the game, presented by Desert Diamond Casinos. Support the ALS Association with an in-game raffle and prizes opportunities throughout the evening.
Saturday, August 21, 7:00 p.m. vs. Tijuana (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.)
SOUVENIR SATURDAY! - FREE 2009 Southern Division Champion Toros Fleece Blankets to the first 1,000 fans through the gates with paid admission, presented by Toros Clubhouse Fitness & the Maverick.
