EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC (8-8-6; 29 pts.) heads to Colorado Springs to face the Switchbacks FC (10-7-5; 35 pts.) on Saturday, September 11 at 8 p.m. CST.

Last time both teams met was at H-E-B Park where the visitors took a 5-2 win. The overall record stands at 6-2-2 between both clubs, and 2-1-2 when the Toros are at Colorado.

RGV FC: Not being able to earn a result, the Toros currently are suffering from a six-game winless streak. Most recently, Elvis Amoh tallied his eighth goal with the club. Rodrigo Lopez continues to be crucial on the pitch as he has been able to create 45 chances, ranking 5th in the USL Championship. The Toros had a new face on the starting 11 roster, Emilio Ycaza who took six total shots, three on goal, earning an 83.3 passing accuracy rate with six key passes. Tyler Deric has saved 37 shots while keeping four clean sheets.

COS: Colorado took a 2-0 win over Real Monarchs SLC in a midweek matchup. Hadji Barry and Jose Torres both notched a goal to earn three points for the Switchbacks. Barry leads Colorado Springs with 21 goals and 59 shots, also leading the USL on both stats. Michee Ngalina at eight assists leads the club and the USL, also creating a total of 42 chances on the pitch. In 14 appearances, Sean Melvin has totaled 41 saves, earning one clean sheet and conceding 24 goals. As a team, the Switchbacks have scored 49 goals, leading the league.
