Toronto FC Midfielder Jackson and Chivas USA Midfielder Reo-Coker Suspended Following September 21 I

NEW YORK (September 26, 2014) - Toronto FC midfielder Jackson was issued a red card for violent conduct towards Chivas USA midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker in the 66th minute of their team's game on September 21 and has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee ( VIDEO ). Reo-Coker was issued a red card in the same incident, however, the Committee has ruled that the player's actions did not constitute violent conduct and he will serve a one-game suspension and has been fined an undisclosed amount. Reo-Coker was also found to be in violation of the League's policy regarding hands to the face/head of an opponent and has been fined.
