Tornado host intrasquad scrimmage Saturday

It will be over 100 degrees outside, but inside the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco things will be nice and cool as the 2005-06 Back-to-Back National Champion Texas Tornado prepare to take the ice for the first time this season for the general public with their annual Intrasquad Scrimmage and Open House this Saturday, August 27th at 10:30am. The two hour on-ice session will feature the Texas Tornado divided into a Black Team and a White Team. Tornado Head Coach Tony Curtale will put the players through some drills and basic practice followed by the scrimmage. The Texas Tornado will also be holding a Select-a-Seat during the scrimmage, at which point fans will be able to select from different tagged seats for a variety of season ticket plans.
TICKET PLANS AVAILABLE AT THE SCRIMMAGE/OPEN HOUSE... A variety of Texas Tornado Season Ticket Plans will be available at the Intrasquad Scrimmage and Open House. Various seats throughout the arena will be tagged with pricing and plan information, which now includes the new F5 Plan. The F5 Plan is a new 5-game plan introduced this season that allows fans to pick any four Tornado games, plus Opening Night to create their own package. Other plans available to choose from this season and at the Open House will be the 8-Game Friday Night Face-Off Plan, in which fans will get 8, preselected Friday night games. The 8-Game Saturday Night Fever Plan, in which fans will get 7, preselected Saturday night games, plus Opening Night. The Family 15-Game Plan, which allows fans to select any 14 Tornado home games and include Opening Night. Lastly, there is the 30-Game Full Season Plan, which gives fans the same great seat for all 30 Tornado home games this season, including the two games against the United States National Team on September 10th and 11th.
