Toledo Royal Knights News Release

Toledo, OH. The ABA Toledo Ice professional basketball team today announced that its first Free Agent Tryout Camp would be held on July 6th at 9am at Owens Community College in Toledo and that the event will be televised on BCSN, Toledo's local sports network. According to Mike Perdue, Director of Basketball Operations, "We think this is a first - to actually have a free agent tryout camp televised. BCSN, which will be televising our games this season and which will be the exclusive network for Toledo Ice games, thought this would be a good way for fans to see the outstanding talent from which we'll be choosing our team. Ohio is great basketball country with fabulous schools as is Michigan - and we believe the competition for spots on the roster will be very competitive." The ABA season starts in early November.
