TJ Dove Returns to Sox

MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox are proud to announce that TJ Dove will be joining the team. "I'm ecstatic to have TJ come back to be on the Gold Sox roster. He's personally one of my favorite players and is overall just a great young man," said VP/GM Michael Mink.
Dove attended River Valley High School where he was the Tri-County Conference (TCC) Offensive MVP and 3-time Team MVP with 151 hits and a .440 career average. His accomplishments are not limited to just baseball, Dove was 2-time All-TCC and TCC MVP in football as well as an All-TCC in basketball. At Yuba College, Dove made 1st Team All-Bay Valley as a sophomore and had a .349 AVG with 14 RBIs, 21 runs, and 30 hits in 30 games played.
At California State University, Monterey Bay, Dove has distinguished himself as a player to compete with when he impressed coaches with 6 home runs during Fall Ball . Dove recently became the first player in the school's history to hit for the cycle in which he hit 2 singles, a double, a triple, and a home run.
Dove was previously on the Gold Sox roster in 2016 where he had 36 hits, 26 runs, and 34 RBIs in 41 games played. Last season, he joined the Yuba City Bears roster where he had 45 hits, 37 runs, and 21 RBIs in 47 games played.
