Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox News Release
MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox are gearing up for their last home game of the season tonight against the Lincoln Potters to try to win the three game series. Last night was a huge win for the team as they rallied to win the game with a score of 14-13. "The biggest thing about getting that win last night was to see all the smiling faces on the players and fans," said Vice President/General Manager Michael Mink. "Sometimes the season doesn't go your way but you have to approach every game as it may be your last. The team showed character and gave maximum effort. They were in the game every inning. It was a beautiful night!" The victory was Minks first as the Gold Sox field manager as the team responded behind him and Assistant Coach Nate Vopata.
