Titans Earn Point in Overtime Loss to Port Huron

Danbury Titans News Release
In the second game of the weekend between the Port Huron Prowlers and Danbury Titans, it was the Prowlers who would get some overtime magic of their own as they defeated the Titans 6-5 on a power play goal from Juston Alonzo.
The Titans had the lead on four separate occasions throughout the game but Port Huron would always answer and eventually took the lead on a shorthanded goal late in the third. A late power play goal would help the Titans tie things up and earn a point. However, a late too many men call in the third period doomed Danbury. Dan Loughlin, Dean Yakura, Tyler Gjurich, John Scorcia, and Jonathan Juliano tallied for the Titans but it was not enough for the visiting team. The Titans split the two game set right down the middle with Port Huron.
Danbury's road work is not over for the weekend as they will head south to Dayton to take on the Demolition Saturday and Sunday night. The Titans will return home next Friday against the Brewster Bulldogs when the puck drops at 7:35 PM. For information and tickets visit www.danburytitans.com or call 844-DTHOCKEY.
