
Timber Rattlers Attendance Record In Sight

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are within just over 14,000 fans of breaking their single season attendance record. That record should fall during the four game series against the Cedar Rapids Kernels that starts on Thursday.
The franchise record for attendance was set in 1996 with 233,797 fans entering the gates. Fan #233,798 in 2009 will receive a prize package from the Timber Rattlers that will include:
A Timber Rattlers Jersey
A bat autographed by the Timber Rattlers
Tickets to a 2009 Milwaukee Brewers game
On-field recognition and a first pitch on the night the record falls
A $200 Timber Rattlers Gift Card
A VIP Suite in 2010 with a $200 credit for food

Thursday, August 20 @ 7:05pm: Lamers Bus Lines presents JJ Putz Magnet. The first 500 fans will receive the fourth in a series of four player magnets. This one features Putz, the pitcher who threw the first no-hitter in Timber Rattlers history and a Major League All-Star. Also, WIXX Thirsty Thursday featuring $1 soda and $1 beer
Friday, August 21 @ 7:05pm: Heroes Night. The Timber Rattlers salute police officers, fire fighters, and EMTs. It is also, North Shore Bank Family Night. Kids 12 and under eat free! Children 14 and under may run the bases courtesy of Thedacare after the scheduled post-game fireworks display sponsored by 95.9 KISS-FM.
Saturday, August 22 @ 6:35pm: Fifteenth Anniversary Celebration and Goodwill Clothing Drive. The Timber Rattlers are celebrating their 15th Anniversary Season throughout the evening and Goodwill will be taking donations in a back-to-school clothing drive. There is a scheduled post-game fireworks display courtesy of FOX 11.
Sunday, August 23 @ 1:05pm: Brewers Sunday with 107.5 THE FAN. This is the final Brewers Sunday of the season and the Brewers-themed jerseys worn by the players and coaches will be up for bid in a silent auction during the game. Fans may play catch on the field before the game. There is also a post-game autograph session for fans to meet the Timber Rattlers players.
