Tigers National Anthem Tryouts Saturday

NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers announced today that 2011 National Anthem Tryouts will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Crystal Mall in Waterford, CT (outside Old Navy).

The Tigers are looking for talented individuals or groups to sing or perform the National Anthem during the 2011 season!

Q105 will be on-site and broadcasting live from the Crystal Mall. There will be a panel of judges from Q105, the Tigers, and the Crystal Mall. Many of the 2011 national anthem performances will be selected from the field of participants at the tryouts.

The judges will select one grand prize winner, who will win a luxury suite rental for 20 guests on the night they perform the National Anthem for the Tigers. Second and third place prizes will also be awarded. Every person who auditions will receive a complimentary ticket voucher good for any 2011 CT Tigers home game!

Please note that all performances will be a capella.

The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League. The Tigers' home opener at Dodd Stadium will be June 20th 2011 at 7:05 P.M. against the Tri-City ValleyCats (Class-A affiliate of the Houston Astros).
