Tickets on sale March 1st for Pros vs. Prospects game

Frisco, Texas – Tickets for the inaugural Pros vs. Prospects Tornado Charity Classic go on sale Tuesday, March 1st at 8:00am. Phone orders for single-game tickets, groups and suites can be purchased by calling 972-335-9800. Ticket prices for the game start at only $15.00 and can also be purchased in person at the Texas Tornado office at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco.

The charity game will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd at 7:30pm at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Frisco, matching the defending United States Junior A National Champion Texas Tornado in a game against a team of current and former NHL Stars. The Pros team will include Dallas Stars' players Bill Guerin, Marty Turco, Brenden Morrow, Jason Arnott, Sergei Zubov, Aaron Downey, Stu Barnes, and Phillipe Boucher. Former Dallas Stars players Joe Nieuwendyk, Guy Carbonneau, Craig Ludwig, Richard Matvichuk, and Lyle Odelien are also scheduled to play in the game. Dallas Stars Head Coach Dave Tippett will be putting down the coaching hat for a night and lacing up his skates, playing along with the pros.

"This is going to be a wonderful event for all of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area," said Texas Tornado President and Owner Kirby Schlegel. "The collection of NHL players, past and present that will be competing for charity against the Tornado will make for a very entertaining evening. We are also happy to announce that all proceeds from the Pros vs. Prospects Tornado Charity Classic will be donated to the Texas Tornado Foundations and the various charities of the NHL stars participating in the event."

Following the game, there will be a live auction for the fans to bid on all of the game-worn jerseys worn by both teams.
