February 13, 2024 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
Racing Louisville FC News Release
Tickets are on sale now for the city's best Thunder Over Louisville experience in 2024: a day at Lynn Family Stadium.
The Butchertown Neighborhood venue and its parking lots will open for programming all day Saturday, April 20 - and for the first time admission includes a professional soccer game. Racing Louisville FC hosts the Utah Royals at 5 p.m. before the evening culminates with one of the nation's largest fireworks displays.
Tickets to this official Kentucky Derby Festival event start at $25 and are available now at RacingLouFC.com or via SeatGeek. Call (502) 568-2489 to reach a ticket representative.
Parking lots open at 7 a.m. on Thunder day before stadium gates follow at 11 a.m. The day's programming includes a screening of "Top Gun: Maverick" on the stadium video board leading into the Thunder air show. Live music will play following the soccer game. And after the fireworks, attendees can avoid any traffic with the stadium open until midnight.
Thunder day guests will receive a wristband allowing for reentry throughout the day with the stadium only steps from Waterfront Park. Tickets include all-day access to restrooms and a number of complimentary family friendly games and activities. Lynn Family Stadium's full array of food and beverage offerings will also be on sale.
Seating will be reserved for the Racing Louisville game. Leading up to the fireworks, guests with general admission Thunder tickets will be permitted to move throughout the stadium to scope out their favorite vantage point.
