
Thunder to Host Youth Football Camp

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Mahoning Valley Thunder are proud to announce the dates for their first-ever Thunder Youth Football Camp, to be held on Cortland Banks Field at the Chevrolet Centre.
The two-day camp will take place on Monday July 23rd and Tuesday, July 24th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The camp is open to children ages 7-14 and will give them an opportunity to learn valuable football instruction from the Thunder players and coaches. Children will be divided up into age groups, based on participation.
"We feel that this is a great way for the youth of the Mahoning Valley to hone their football skills and to get the chance to meet and learn from their favorite players," said Phil Tesar, Thunder Media Relations Coordinator.
The cost of the camp is $40 per child and includes a free Thunder T-shirt, a ticket to the Thunder game on Saturday, July 28th versus the Green Bay Blizzard and lunch will be provided each day.
Registration for the camp can be done by calling the Thunder Offices at 330.758.4232 or visiting the Thunder website at www.mahoningvalleythunder.com. On the website, download the registration form and fax it to 330.758.5580 - attention Youth Football Camp. Registration will be available on Monday, July 23rd but it is recommended to pre-register to guarantee entry to the camp.
