Thunder to hold hitting clinic on November 15

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder announced today that they would hold its second clinic of the 2008-09 off season on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the team's indoor training facility (209 N. 3rd Street) in Rockford.

Registration for the clinic begins at 10:30 a.m., with the clinic scheduled to begin promptly at 11 a.m. for ages 7-12. Session #2, which is scheduled for athletes ages 13-18, will begin at 1:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 1 p.m. Advanced registration is recommended.

The cost of the clinic is $35 per participant and is open to youth ages 7-18. Each registered participant will receive a discount on all team merchandise, two hours of instruction and a Q&A and autograph session.

The first 10 kids to register for the clinic by calling the Thunder office will receive a $10 discount on the clinic or a chance to win season tickets for the upcoming 2009 season.

Scheduled to work the clinic for the Thunder is infielder Jamie Davison, outfielder Sandy Vojik and catcher Stephanie Fischer.
