
Thunder to hold defensive clinic on October 26

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder announced today that they would hold its first clinic of the 2008-09 offseason on Sunday, Oct. 26 at Player's Park (5444 Swanson Road) in Roscoe, Ill.
Registration for the clinic begins at 10:30 a.m., with the clinic scheduled to begin promptly at 11 a.m. Advanced registration is recommended.
The cost of the clinic is $35 per participant and is open to youth ages 7-18. The kids will be split up into different age groups upon arrival to the facility. Each registered participant will receive a gift from the Thunder, 2.5 hours of instruction and a 30-minute Q&A and autograph session.
The first 15 kids to register for the clinic by calling the Thunder office will receive their choice of a $10 discount or a Thunder plaque.
Scheduled to work the clinic for the Thunder is infielder Jamie Davison, pitcher Paige Granath and coach Jim Sherwood.
