Thunder Teams Up with Boys and Girls Club

February 6, 2006 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Big Sky Thunder News Release

The new Bozeman Indoor Football Team, The Big Sky Thunder, has made a touchdown up with the Boys & Girls Club of SW Montana by volunteering community service hours to the Club.

Before any big game, there is a great deal of work to be done and the Big Sky Thunder is helping the Club prepare for their "game time." On the morning of the Club's upcoming Mardi Gras fundraiser, to be held at the Emerson Cultural Center on Friday, February 10th, team players will show up to unload auction items and decorations from trailers. They will then assist in the set up of 50 or more tables for the auction items and all the chairs for the Carnival guests who will arrive later in the evening. Throughout the night, the team members will assist Burns & Company with the live auction by serving as spotters. The Big Sky Thunder will stay through the end of the evening to help tear down the tables and chairs!

Don't miss this opportunity to meet the players on Bozeman's newest professional sports team and to support the Boys & Girls Club of SW Montana. For ticket information, please call the club at 587-8442. The Carnival/Mardi Gras theme is apt to bring out the kid in all of us!
